Prosecco

Cabert Prosecco
$18.99 / bottle (12 btls/cs)

Cabert is one of our most popular wineries because it offers incredible value and great, easy to love wines. Their Prosecco is grown in the famous Grave del Friuli plain and is crisp, clean, refreshing and dry. Great on its own or perfect in a mimosa. Hard to beat and easy to share.

Cava

Giro Ribot Cava Brut Reserva
$21.99 / bottle (6 btls/cs)

Giro Ribot is a lovely family-run winery in Penedes, the heartland of Cava region. They focus on complex and refreshing sparkling wines made in the traditional or champagne method with native grapes of the region. Their Brut Reserva comes from handpicked 20 to 30 year old vines and spends 24 to 30 months ageing in bottle. What emerges is a floral and fresh bubble with toasted and creamy flavours for added body. One of the star value wines of our portfolio.

Pétillant Naturel

Vincent Caillé X Bulles, Muscadet, Loire // délicate Rose bubble
$26.99 / bottle (12 btls/cs)

This sparkling is made from the ancient method of one fermentation in bottles from iconic winemaker Vincent Caillé, a fifth generation vigneron and of the few organic producers in Pais Nantais, Loire. Vincent took over the family business in 1986 and has been ceaselessly dedicated to quality ever since. The world has noticed: he increasingly sneaks into every best-of list of top Muscadet producers from Eric Asimov to Jon Bonné. The X Bulles is 90% Chardonnay and 10% Grolleau, a native light red grape of the region. The result is “pretty and fragrant pear blossom and rosewater carried along a fine zip line of green apple acidity and a fine bubble to a snappy, mineral water finish. At 11 percent alcohol, this defines smashable. These grapes are perfectly suited to this style.” (Gismondi Wine). This wine is a fun treat and something more playful to pull out on Christmas morning. The most delicate rose colour.

Cremant

Philippe Zinck Cremant D’Alsace
$31.99 / bottle (6 btls/cs)

Cremant is sparkling wine made in the traditional method grown anywhere in France other than Champagne. It is a go-to for incredible complexity and most-champagne like flavours for a third of the price. Zinck is one of our classic, star producers: family run, second generation and firmly committed to quality and purity above all else. Their classic Cremant is a blend of Chardonnay, which adds fruit lightness and Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, which add strength and richness. All combine to a complex and dry Cremant with a biscuity bouquet of exotic fruit and apricots and fine bubbles that impress. In a six pack, it disappears quickly and with satisfaction.

Champagne

Bruno Paillard Brut Premier Cru Champagne
$79.99 / bottle (6 btls/cs)

Other sparkling wine is nice, but Champagne is the ruler of them all for good reason. Bruno Paillard is one of the most respected houses in the region for their innovation, quality and pedigree of vineyards. The Brut Premier Cru Champagne is their flagship and a selection of 35 of the 320 Crus of Champagne. The blend is an exclusive first pressing of Pinot Noir (45%), Charonnay (33%) and Pinot Meunier (22%), part of which (20%) was in barrel for the first fermentation. It included up to 50% reserve wines that are a blend of 25 vintages since 1985. This adds incredible complexity and depth of flavour. Ageing is longer than the legal requirement: three years sur lie then another 5 months after disgorgement. The dosage is extremely low and classifies as extra brut at less than 6 g/, creating a pure, authentic Champagne. Citrus, almond, toasted bread and redcurrant jelly sing in this special bottling we only offer a few times a year. Worth every penny and a great treat.
