Over the last few decades, Julien Sunier has transitioned from rising star to one of the best producers in Beaujolais. In 2008, his dream came true when he became a farmer by creating his own wine estate from scratch. He purchased just over 7 acres of densely-planted steep parcels in the prestigious Crus of Fleurie, Morgon and Regnié and started his own domaine. Julien’s driving force is clean and sustainable agriculture. He farms organically to produce his exceptionally pure and elegant Cru Beaujolais wines that are full of character and terroir, and brilliantly express the full potential of Gamay.
