Alen Bibić is a pioneer of the contemporary Croatian wine scene. His Grandfather’s vineyards, which had been in the family for over 500 years, were destroyed in the 1990's during the Croatian War of Independence and left barren for decades. Determined to restore them to their former glory, Alen replanted vines, and employed his family's traditional methods using minimal intervention to cultivate unique varieties indigenous to the region. His revolutionary blends of traditional grapes produce fantastic wines that have become the first of their kind to be exported to North America. Today BIBICh has been transformed into an absolutely stunning winery and was one of Anthony Bourdain’s “must visit” destinations along the Dalmatian Coast.

Winemaker Notes

A light white wine with tropical notes of guava and ripe apple. Dry and well balanced with high acidity. Extremely ripe and fresh, while being unbelievably drinkable makes this a perfect everyday white.

Debit in its purest form. Shortly macerated with minimal intervention. Organically grown and hand harvested grapes. After two days of maceration, the wine remains in stainless steel for about 11 months until it is bottled. Recommended drinking temperature: 14 - 15°C

Winemaker Notes

Herbal, aromas chocolate, cherry, sage, immortelle. Dark forest fruits with hints of cracked pepper and graphite. Medium body with a longer finish and hints of minerality. A smooth mouthfeel with a silky layer of soft tannin will have you reaching for more.

Hand-picked Syrah organic grown grapes from 38-year-old vines in Croatia. Unusual combination of varietals fermented with indigineous yeasts using minimal intervention. Aged 1 year in french oak. Plavina used to water down thick bloody syrah created this amazing herbal potion we like to call CRNO (“black”).

Winemaker Notes

 A refreshing red with red fruit and green tomato flavours balancing each other. Its high acidity and the elegant, medium body make this a perfect wine for any occasion.

Hand harvested grapes that remain on skins for about 7 days. Plavina and Lasin are co-fermented. Babić is fermented separately and aged for 6 months in neutral French barrique. The rest of the wine remains in stainless steel. Everything is blended before bottling..
